500 grams (1lb / 1.6370oz) macaroni
250 grams (9 oz) feta cheese, crumbled
1 and 1/2 cup sugar
500 ml (2 cups) milk
150 grams (5 oz) butter
For this recipe, rigatoni are probably your best bet, but I am sure that you can use other macaroni as well. Boil the rigatoni in salted water, then drain and put into the buttered baking dish. Add the crumbled feta cheese and in a bowl mix the eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla. Pour the mixture over the macaroni. Cut the remaining butter into small cubes and add it as well. Bake in preheated oven (at 180 Celcsius / 356 Fahrenheit) until browned.
