Oven Baked Stake on Coarse Salt

2 onion, chopped
8 tbsps butter
6 kg of coarse salt
8 tbsps olive oil
2 steak – approximately 1 Kg

Cover the bottom of a roasting pan with 1 kg of coarse salt.
Place the steak with the fat side up.
Cover the meat with the remaining salt evenly, making sure to cover the entire steak. No meat should be left uncovered.
Roast the steak in 200C oven until ready.
In a skillet, heat the butter and the olive oil and fry the onion dor a few minutes.
Remove the layr of salt from the steak and cut it into thin slices.
Serve by pouring a little bit of the onion sauce over the steak slices.

Melon cake with chocolate sauce

For the cake:
1000 ml melon pulp (without sugar and without water)
1000 g plain flour
500 g sugar
400 ml oil
6 eggs
2 tbsp baking powder
For the chocolate sauce:
12 tablespoons cocoa powder
100 ml water
2 can of cream
4 tbsps margarine

For the batter:
In a blender, beat the eggs, melon pulp and oil for about 3 minutes or until smooth and fluffy.
Transfer the mix to a bowl and gradually add the sugar and the flour, whisking with a hand mixer until all the sugar dissolves.
Gently stir in the baking powder.
Pour the batter in a greased and floured pan and bake in a preheated oven until a toothpick, inserted in the middle of the cake, comes out clean.
For the chocolate sauce:
Add the cocoa powder, water and margarine to a pan and heat. Stir until all of the cocoa powder has dissolved and the mix resembles a chocolate syrup.
Remove the mix from the heat and mix it in the cream.
Let the cake cool before covering it with the sauce and serving.

Quick Apple Cake

4 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp ground cinnamon for sprinkling
8 eggs
2 tbsp sugar for dusting
2 tbsp baking powder
4 cups of sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 cup milk
8 tbsp margarine
2 chopped apple

Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks in a large bowl. Whip the eggs whites until fluffy and set them aside.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks, sugar and margarine until they resemble a fluffy cream.
Add the flour, cornstarch and milk to the cream and beat for 2 minutes.
Add the egg whites and baking powder to the mix and gently fold.
Pour half of the batter in a greased pan, add the chopped apples and cover the apples with the rest of the batter.
Bake in a hot oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick, inserted n the middle of the pan, comes out clean.
After the cake is done, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
